Travelling via Athens
This is a viable alternative to flying and a wonderful opportunity to see some of the countryside. Rates for a small car vary from 175 Euro per week in low season to 230 Euro per week in high. Several guests have simply rented a car at Athens Airport for a week, driven to us and safely left the vehicle in the hotel car park whilst out sailing for the week, returning the car to the airport to catch their flight home. The cost is comparable to two return flights. Please be aware that there is a rather stunning bridge that is crossed at Patra…an amazing feat of engineering but the toll is 11 Euro to cross.
