70ft of sailing perfection!

It is the largest production cruising catamaran ever built by Fountaine-Pajot, and is certainly very impressive! The layout consists of 6 guest suites, all with island beds and private en suite bath and showers. The yacht is fully air conditioned, with an interior designed by the world-renowned yacht interior designer Jean-Jacques Coste. No cost has been spared in the design and outfitting of this modified, 70ft version, of the original Galathea. We visited the first Galathea, launched last year, and were all impressed by what we saw. Imagine a larger version of our current flagship, TradeWinds Explorer, with fantastic interior and exterior volume, and of course brand new..... A modern, ultra-luxurious, top-of-the-range, catamaran with a price tag close to US$ 2.5 million Dollars, should you wish to purchase privately!

We already know you enjoy the superior service on your "regular" TradeWinds cruise, and with this yacht, we wish to extend and develop that experience, into something even more special... Cruise in a Power Cat!

She will be based on the French island of Guadeloupe, situated between Dominica to the south and Antigua to the north.

The most exciting aspect of a power catamaran is (as it cruises at 20+ knots) that we could cover much larger areas, and can therefore offer locations and islands to visit previously not available with a sailing vessel. As usual, the boat will be crewed with a Captain and hostess to ensure that luxury experience aboard.

You will be able to venture as far as St Kitts and Nevis, Montserrat, as well as Antigua and Barbuda in the north or Dominica in the South. Adding into the excitement of the nearby islands of The Saints and Marie-Galante, it certainly will offer flexibility on another level! The layout of this particular power catamaran design is also quite different from the traditional TradeWinds yachts. It has one very large suite, covering pretty much the whole port hull section, and two further guest cabins on the starboard (right hand) side. The layout is very much designed for

Members booking the whole boat, themselves staying in the large suite, and inviting another four friends or family members aboard to use the other two cabins. The experience will be more intimate, with only a maximum of six guests onboard.
